First day of CNY

Every Chinese New Year eve, Mummy will put  壓歲錢( ang pau) under the girls' pillow.

During Chinese New Year, gong gong and popo will give ang pau to their children and grandchildren. And all of us will queue up and wishing them a blessed new year. And this year, the three girls were well trained with greeting everybody with "Gong Xi Fa Chai" 恭 喜 發 財 ( wishing you prosperity) " Wan Shi Ru Yi" 萬 事 如 意 ( May all your wishes come true) and Shen Ti Jian Kang ( stay healthy ).

We went back to Ipoh during Chinese New Year eve this year. The girls enjoyed the stay very much - play, eat and sleep a lot.
ES was busy helping MS in hairdo.

After breakfast, they went to playground. They requested to go to the playground opposite popo's house every morning.

Second day of CNY

We went to Ah Cho's house on the second day of CNY, a family gathering with ah ma's brothers, sisters and all the cousins & relatives.

After the lunch gathering, we went to gong gong and popo's house. During Chinese New Year, it is a tradition in gong gong and popo's house that we wish them with new year greetings before receiving our and pau.

Have fun at the beach

We went to the beach again the day after Christmas. We saw some parachutes when we reached there.

 MS's favourite activity, building sandcastle.

Ah gong : Hey, LS, you can make your sandcastle this way.
