As a tradition, I put two ang pau under the girls' pillows, ya shui qian ( in mandarin ). Each of us received an ang pau from ES too.

 

This is what she wrote for daddy:

Reunion Dinner

We had an early reunion dinner three days before CNY. This year we can really feel the new year atmosphere as we are with our beloved family members and everybody is celebrating chinese new year here. Ah Ma cooked some delicious dishes for the dinner.

And chilli sauce - red chilli, gingers, lime, soy sauce, a pinch of sugar ( only prepared during festive season at gong gong's parents house ) 

 

 The boys and girls enjoyed their dinner on their small tables while the adults having their dinner.

 

Daddy bought lou sang back and the kids enjoyed it too....
