She begins to dance

Making little steps while turning round and round, when whereever we ask her to dance. We would sing some songs and clap to cheer her on.

Fun Fun Sunday

Started of with a hair cut from mummy

Continued with a day at the beach behind parkroyal hotel, mummy had to get something from the hotel, so we took the opportunity to introduce ee shuen to the real beach. She had been getting doses of beaches from her books but not the real one yet.

She was just so excited with sea, waves, boat and guess what .......

we met some horses and pony too.

Playing peekaboo with daddy....

Ee Shuen is always running towarsd the beach, daddy had to properly hold her.

And of course, since we are at the beach, daddy was looking around for pretty girls in sexy bikini sunbathing........ and check out what daddy found....

Had the best seafood dinner last saturday at Hai Boey (we feels that is was much better than starview), it has been sometime since we last came, that was before ee shuen was borned. And best of all it all comes with a best view, that is before the sun sets into the horizon.....

3. Stir fried 'chi' (crab) in duck egg
4. Steamed 2 huge mantis prawn

Myth or Fact: Our water supply is dirty

No this is not a sponsored though we wish it is. But anyway just a sharing with everyone on the quality of our water. We were reading the cafe latte session question with CM YAB Lim Guan Eng that our water supplies contains too much chlorine, well it contains too much sediment and rust as well.

Picture tell a thousand words have a good look below.....

We change the filter every two weeks.

We thought we seen this act before in TV advertisement by DJ Chan Fong and we thought it was a little exagerated, but apparently we could do it in our own home :(.

Finally after changing the filter on a saturday evening around 4pm, we snap a photo of the filter in its housing the next morning at 10am, and its already begin to turn black.....

Bob the Builder

Everytime when we passed by Jusco, there's a place where a lot of tanker, lorries and tractors parking there, sometimes there is some people working there. Mummy will tell Ee Shuen that this is " Bob the Builder".
When we back to Popo and Gong gong house last two days, we passed by a factory with tractor parking outside. She asked Mummy to look out the window, and point to the tractor. Then Mummy realised she remembered this is " Bob the Builder".

Our new CM.....

Although Daddy mentioned we will not be posting polical post for some time, but we just could not resist highlighting this to everyone and ee shuen.

Summary is our new PG CM did not moved to the official CM residence as it would mean spending RM100K of the state government's money. WOW... such humility. Daddy just hope this attitude will be an example to all other political leaders in the state and federal, and this is just a start for more to come.

Thanks YAB Lim Guan Eng... for being a role model to all, keep it up. We the rakyat and baby rakyat (ee shuen) fully support you!!

You can read the full report here.

PENANG has her NEW CM effective NOW!!

(pic stolen from malaysiakini)

Yes Guan Eng has sworn in as the fourth CM of Penang.

This is one of the time in our 30+years, daddy and mummy feels extremely PROUD of being a Penangnite. No it is not because Guan Eng is the CM, it is due to the process of us getting there, how all races unite, voting beyond race, religion and party.

I am sure the boys in DAP, PKR and PAS, not forgetting the opposition party, BN :) will do well in administrating Penang. We hope and pray that Penang and the rest of the 4 states will be a model state for the future Malaysia.

BTW if you are interested, you can check out a little bit more of Guan Eng's history here.

They just don't get it......

Just like what Tony said here .

And read what our Minister of Education have to say here. To him it is a misteri..... It is becoming clearer to me why they lost. If they continue like this soon they find them self in the opposition seats in the parliment next GE.

What Ee Shuen did last saturday

She went near to the bag where Daddy & Mummy usually take out. She took out all her stuff, like biscuits container, container for bread....

After playing, she put all the stuff back to the bag. She took out a packet of baby wipe, and try to bite on the packet! She had forgotten that she swallowed one small piece of the packet before and need to rush to the doctor! She's so forgetful!

Back to Work!!

So after the long weekend, daddy and mummy is back to work. The adreanlin rush of the weekend is over. Penang is set to get her new CM and we all go back to our regular 8-5 (+ OT) life.

Generally in office today i can see people all excited about our New State government, worried if they are able to managed the state, after all they have been in the opposing side all the while, and now they have to do ACTUAL work :). But we think it will turn out ok, well it could not get any worst from what we have now.

The other thing we begin hearing ppl mumuring is, if the work on penang bridge expansion and 2nd link will stop since we no longer being ruled by the same government in the federal. well daddy have this to say to those who are worried, if the work is stop due to the difference in the state and federal government, we will then change the federal government next GE, making it the same as the current 5 state government!!

Ee Shuen at 14 months

photo taken during last Sunday, 2nd of March 2008

Ee Shuen is 14 months as of today, 7th of March 2008.

quite some times Mummy didn't wrote for her, always busy busy busy with work....

She can walked from the front door to the balcony, then to her bedroom & then to the kitchen, non-stop now.

She can say a few new words now: Ai ( " want " in Hokkien ), lion ( becuase she has a pillow with the printing of a lion ), mum mum ( food ), nen nen ( milk ), book, fish, aeroplane, this, zher bian ( This way in mandarin )

She can recognised the way to playground and the way back home from ground floor.

She can climb down from Mummy's bed by herself. And even sofa!

She drinks 7 oz of milk.

She eats bread, teething biscuits, porridge, egg, fruits like papaya, banana, apple, peach.Sometimes she will be more happy if she's given a spoon.

Waving "bye-bye".

drinking with a straw from her water bottle

Able to stand alone

Can stoop down and then stand back up again.

Starting to have clear ideas about what he wants and will be persistent in trying to achieve them. She'll say " ng mai" for ( don't want in Hokkien ) and " ai " ( want in Hokkien ).

She had fever on this Tuesday afternoon. And she had almost recovered now.

We were part of the history... WE WERE THERE!!!

Daddy took the night off from taking care of ee shuen to be a part of the history in the making (hopefully it will happen this March 8th). Of course mummy was the silent voice supporting from home, taking care of ee shuen while daddy and his buddy took a night off to lent a voice and presence to the Barisan Alternative. Thanks mummy and ah mah!!

The crowd filled the Han Chiang field, every corridor and roads in, out and surrounding the school. The atmosphere was magical with crowd roaring and cheering away whenever the candidates hit a point. It was a night when i felt like a true Malaysian and everyone on the field is my brother and sister, irrelative of race or religion.

One other surpring thing was, while surfing throung the internet looking for pics of the night, daddy actually spotted my buddy and i among the sea of people. The original photo is here. I was in white with greyish print on the back and my buddy in light blue tshirt.
